Making games that our studio employees would want to spend time playing
Codename Entertainment is a company built around making games that our studio employees would want to spend time playing. Between periods of intense coding and arting, you'll find us dodging nerf darts or cursing each other out (in jest!) in the latest multiplayer battle. Our studio was originally founded under the name "DJArts Games Inc." in 2008 by David Whittaker and Justin Stocks with the successful launch of their first title, "Egg Breaker". Egg Breaker's success hatched three successive games, Egg Breaker 2, Egg Drop and the current title in the series, Egg Breaker Adventures. Launched in 2010, the classic Bush Whacker appealed to adventurers who were looking to smack some shrubbery and see what popped out. Following its success, in 2012 Bush Whacker 2 was released, and recently celebrated its second anniversary with much cake. It was not a lie. Codename is based in Victoria, BC. We care about our community and we are a proud member of the growing video game sector in Victoria.
