Advanced Applied Physics Solutions (AAPS) is a nationally designated Centre of Excellence for Commercialization and Research, established at TRIUMF Canada's national laboratory for research into particle and nuclear physics. AAPS mission is to commercialize advanced physics technologies for the social and economic well-being of Canadians, and to advance the development of physics applications for the benefit of people around the world. To achieve these objectives, AAPS collaborates with academic, government, and industry stakeholders to develop promising new technologies emerging from research at TRIUMF and other leading institutions. AAPS operates as a not-for-profit corporation and is funded in part by the Canadian federal government through the Networks of Centres of Excellence.
